Permanent art, crafted with precision.

Spin Blajin is a studio in Brasov where every piece starts as a drawing and reaches the skin with the same rigor it was conceived with. Academic training is the foundation every tattoo is built on. Integrity toward the art and toward the client is the only reason we exist.

Flashes

Original designs, ready to become permanent.

Every piece in the collection is a finished work, conceived and completed as such. If one speaks to you, it's ready to go on skin exactly as you see it. The flash pieces here are the result of a complete artistic process. The collection is constantly renewed, and every addition is original.

Styles

From fine line to complex compositions. Same level of attention.

You bring the vision, I bring the technical structure, the composition, and the hand. From large, complex pieces to small, precise ones, every project gets the same level of preparation. The style can change, but the standard stays the same.

The Atelier

An atelier where you see the standards, not just hear about them.

The easel sits next to the sterile equipment. The pieces on the walls are by the same person who tattoos you. Hygiene is part of the atmosphere here, but I know how important it is to feel like you're in your own living room when someone's working a needle into your skin, and I've made sure your comfort isn't overlooked.

Standard

Permanent means no compromises.

When something is permanent, every decision or moment of hesitation matters to me. At Spin Blajin, hygiene, attention, and preparation are the consistency that defines me. They are there in every project, regardless of complexity or size.

Blog

Simple rules to follow for
a tattoo to last well.

The first days after the session decide how well the piece looks long-term and how well it holds up over time. This stage deserves the same attention as the session itself. Here you'll find everything you need to know, explained directly and simply so it's easy to follow.

About me

Tattoos built with the mindset of a fine artist.

The foundation I work from is academic training in art. Drawing, composition, a sense of proportion: they all translate directly into the quality of a tattoo, especially when the piece is complex. I've built a studio on honest principles, a place where every person who walks through our door is a piece of art in themselves.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

I compiled all the common questions I've received from clients: before booking, during healing, and long after the ink has settled, and answered them all here, simply and directly. I avoided vague reassurances or marketing fluff that just sounds good, and instead brought the same honesty and attention to detail you'll find in every piece at Spin Blajin.

The minimum price for a tattoo is 250 lei (50€). This usually corresponds to a small, simple tattoo, with a design that's either custom or brought in by you.

Prices per tattoo range from 250 lei (50€) to 1500 lei per day (290€; full-day session). The factors that influence the cost are size, body area, and level of detail. It's best for the price to be discussed with me beforehand, where you share the desired size, some references, and/or a description of the idea.

For larger pieces, a free consultation is required before booking, so we can make sure the design created is exactly what you imagined.

For small tattoos: completely optional, not recommended. You can talk to me on the phone or by message to describe your idea. During the appointment, before we tattoo, I'll create the design right there with you. It doesn't take long, and the time needed for the sketch isn't added to the price.

For medium tattoos: optional, depending on the project. It's best to send me your idea in writing, reference or inspiration photos, the size of the tattoo, and the area where you want it, and then we'll decide together whether a consultation is needed before booking, to better understand the project and develop the sketch.

For large tattoos: mandatory. Consultations are free and necessary for large projects (sleeve, backpiece, and similar).
These pieces require a deeper level of understanding of the idea, so at least one in-person meeting is needed, where we discuss the idea, style, price, placement, and duration. During this time, I can also map out the area where you want the tattoo on transfer paper, so I can build a design that works with YOUR body, not just a sticker slapped on anywhere.
There's also something less talked about online: the consultation is a chance for you to get to know the tattoo artist better and see the place where you'll be tattooed. This helps you decide clearly whether Spin Blajin is the right place for you. And that matters enormously when you're starting a large piece: feeling 100% confident in the person you'll be working with going forward.

Unfortunately, there's no single answer that works for everyone here. The pain felt during a tattoo depends entirely on each person's pain threshold, the area being tattooed, and the length of the session. Generally, the longer the tattoo takes and the thinner the skin, the more the pain can increase. Otherwise, for small tattoos it's minor.

This is one of the unfounded myths circulating in the tattoo world. No, a color tattoo doesn't hurt more just because it's colorful, but it can hurt more if it has fill areas or sections that need to be worked over repeatedly, just like black and grey tattoos. Any tattoo worked on for longer can cause discomfort, but that has nothing to do with the color of the ink.

Just like with color tattoos, white ink isn't to blame for extra pain either. The reason some people say this is that white is usually used for final accents, applied over areas already tattooed and sensitized.

So, a tattoo made with white or colored lines doesn't hurt more than one made with black ink.

For tattoos without a deposit, Spin Blajin accepts payment in cash. In cases where this isn't possible, or for deposits, we can also use bank transfer.

Absolutely! Spin Blajin is the only tattoo studio in Brașov that accepts walk-ins! Got hit with an idea out of nowhere and every other studio wants a booking in advance? Come to Spin Blajin and don't wait any longer! You'll find me at the studio from Wednesday through Sunday, between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

Make sure you have a valid photo ID with you, and for longer tattoo sessions, you can also bring a snack. In case you feel faint or tired, there's water and candy at the studio. Also, the studio is located next to a 24-hour store, in case you need anything else.

Spin Blajin operates in accordance with all national laws and regulations in force. That's why the minimum age is 18 years old, regardless of whether you have parental consent or a legal guardian who could give consent on your behalf. Unfortunately, I'll see you in a few years or a few months!

Although everyone is different, on average, a tattoo heals on the surface within 3 weeks.

Feel free to read the Aftercare article for more information.

Check out the Aftercare section to learn everything you need about healing: what you can and can't do, the steps for proper healing, care products, and more!

Generally, we don't show tattoo sketches before the day of the appointment. The designs are presented directly on that day, and any minor changes can be made on the spot, no problem. The exception is large-scale tattoos, discussed beforehand during a free consultation, in which case the design can be shown before the appointment.

No. Advance sketches are generally made only for clients who were advised to come in for a free consultation. For the rest of the designs, small and medium, these are put together on the spot, on the day of the appointment. The time needed for the sketch isn't added to the price, and it doesn't take long either.

To make sure I have a comfortable work space, I can't host more than 1 person in addition to you, for each appointment.

I know how hard it is to find parking in central Brașov, but luckily there are paid parking spots just a few meters away from the studio, for your convenience.
